NEXT Exam 2025 : Step 1 exam is likely to happen in August 2025 for final-year MBBS students from the 2020 batch. Step 2 is expected in February 2026, but the official dates haven’t been announced yet by the NMC. The NMC will release a brochure with all key dates and details about the exam.
Earlier, a mock exam was planned for July 22, 2023, but it was canceled after student protests. Registration for the mock test had already started, and the last date to apply was July 10, 2023. NEXT Eligibility Criteria

EXAM PATTERN
The official NEXT exam pattern has not been released but based on the AIIMS NExT Step 1 mock exam it is expected to follow a similar structure.The mock exam is conducted in a computer based mode and consists of two shifts.
